Karen Lord, Director of Training  

Karen Lord is director of training for Cypress Software Systems LP. She brings to the position more than 26 years of management and training experience in the banking and finance industry. Her responsibilities include organizing, supervising and conducting client training sessions on Cypress’ loan automation software – Mark IV, BizMark and AppMark.

Prior to Cypress, Lord was global customer trainer and training manager for Equifax Enabling Technologies, formerly Appro Systems, in Baton Rouge, La., where she led a training team to develop and deliver customized training courses for the company’s lending software.

Lord also was a business services analyst for Electronic Data Systems’ (EDS) Financial Services Division in Baton Rouge, where she created and executed training programs that supported customers in the United States and South Korea.

She also led training and management initiatives for Chase Bank, Bank One, Premier Bank and Louisiana National Bank in Baton Rouge.
